“Trading is life at 1000x speed: every choice counts, every belief speaks. They test the stories you tell yourself.”

Trading with MindQuest Principles

Course Framework: I AM, I THINK, I WILL

Introduction: What is it?

This course is both a trading journey and a self-discovery quest.
Trading emulates life—only a thousand times faster. Every decision brings either reward or pain, and in both you’ll learn.

Here, you will:

  • Develop your own trading style.
  • Face and challenge micro-beliefs about money, success, and risk.
  • Strengthen your decision-making under pressure.
  • Build discipline, self-awareness, and confidence.

Learning Method: Seekers of Knowledge

We do not simply hand you information—you seek, define, and embody it.

Process for every new concept:

  1. Part 1: Your definition (I AM – present awareness + mastering your surroundings).
  2. Part 2: Market definition (I THINK – gathering + critical thinking).
  3. Part 3: Write a story (I WILL – putting knowledge into action).

🔎 Example: Equities

  • I AM: “Equities are ownership in a company.”
  • I THINK: “According to market definitions, equities represent ownership shares in publicly traded companies.”
  • I WILL: Write a 400-word story using “equities,” connecting it to personal life and decision-making.

The I AM, I THINK, I WILL Framework

Every mission, reflection, and trade analysis uses this communication style:

  • I AM (Gathering Information):
Who am I in this moment? What is happening right now? What do I see, feel, know?
    → Builds awareness.
  • I THINK (Critical Thinking):
What are my options? What does the data suggest? What are the risks and probabilities?
    → Builds analysis.
  • I WILL (Criteria for Success):
What decision will I make? What action will I take? What is my definition of a successful outcome?
    → Builds discipline.

This mirrors trading: observation → analysis → execution.

What You Will Learn

  1. Market Knowledge
    • Equities, options, futures, bonds, derivatives.
    • Market language, daily rituals (WSJ, Barron’s, news flow).
    • Technical skills: charting, indicators, risk management.
    • Strategy building & journaling.
  2. MindQuest Knowledge
    • Micro-belief discovery (fear of loss, greed, impatience).
    • Emotional tracking (“feelings in the moment”).
    • Journaling reflections using I AM, I THINK, I WILL.
    • Turning mistakes into missions.

How It’s Different

  • Not modules, missions. Each lesson is a challenge that rewires your knowledge.
  • Blended growth. Technical skills + emotional intelligence.
  • Active learning. You write, reflect, and apply—not just consume.
  • Criteria-driven. Every mission ends with I WILL—your definition of success.
